A group exhibition located in London at The Brent Artists Resource.

The film represents this idea of the encounters we witness everyday and the parallels that are caused between this, intertwining the certainty with the uncertainty. We know that every day the sun is going to rise and set, but we do not know whether or not we will be there to witness this. At the start of the film, the figure is very strong and self-assured but as time passes the certainty of this image begins to fade until it has totally diminished, as though it was never there to begin with. The reason for using a shadow is that I wanted to show the transparency of our lives and leave no physical mark upon the room, such as contours where our weight has been and represent this notion of loss, which I so often work with. What could one day feel like your entire world, the next day can feel like it never even existed, leaving no trace of you behind. This is a comment upon the mark we leave behind when we are gone and what can be there one moment, can soon be replaced the next and one can forget that it even existed.
